Pointed Questions – I didn’t like these.

I don’t like it when my kids ask pointed questions, but they are really good at it.

A few days into the points project, my kids each asked really good questions.

Since it was about the points project, I think it would be fair to call them “pointed questions.” (pun intended).

Sometimes my kids ask me the really hard questions.

I jotted them down on the first scrap of paper I found and carried the card in my purse a few days while I pondered a response.

Pointed Questions:

Why do I have to do everything around here?

Mommy, how many points do YOU earn?

Have your kids ever asked you a pointed question?  How did you respond? Care to share what it was?

Laundry war “after” photo

winning the laundry warsIn my ongoing laundry war with a friend, I wanted to share an “after” photo. You can see a “before” picture in my post about our remodel and the mess it has made for our closets.

It took a few hours, and I still have a TON of laundry to put away. But for now, everything is clean!!!!

All the towels and sheets are folded, but I have no where to put them.

I am so proud of this!  My laundry room is such a pretty place when it isn’t full of laundry.

I am going to win this laundry war!

The wise woman builds her house.  Proverbs 14:1  Wise Women rock!I want to be a wise woman who spends her time and energies building up her own house.  I’m always so disappointed when I find myself acting like the foolish woman, tearing down my own best efforts.  God calls us to be wise women, not foolish ones.
