Today’s Thankful Thoughts post is being typed on my phone. All the artwork is being generated on my phone. It’s only appropriate for me to be expressing thankfulness for my phone.
(edited: I did not post this until I got home because I needed to make sure the post looked right. it’s the first time i ever did a post completely on the phone and i didn’t trust the process. with a little html knowledge or advance planning, it’s totally do-able.)
Top 10 reasons I’m thankful for my phone.
1. It keeps me company at 2am. I can check to see what other friends are on Facebook with their insomnia. It helps to know I’m not alone. I frequently fall back asleep praying for my sisters in insomnia.
2. I always have a came
ra in my back pocket. I’ve captured countless moments that would have been missed otherwise.
3. My household notebook is always with me. I can check my calendar, add something to my husband’s schedule, check my menu plan, or follow up with the dentist. All from my phone.
4. I’m never bored. Unless I want to be. I always have a book and a movie and a game with me. I always have some great tunes to enjoy. I stay motivated to walking eat healthy.
5. I’m rarely lost. Even in a strange city. I have GPS and a search engine in my pocket.
6. My bible is always with me.
7. Evernote. I have crochet patterns and recipes and project ideas in there. When I’m out shopping, I can quickly find what I need and buy the right stuff. That rocks.
8. I always have a flashlight.
9. Relationships. I’m able to stay closer to friends and family because of my phone. There is a constant exchange of words and photos as we celebrate the small milestones of daily life.
10. Freedom. I wrote this entire post on my phone as I’ve bounced down the highway riding in my husband’s giant pickup. You can’t tell me that isn’t cool.
I’m incredibly thankful for my phone.
