I dare you to have thankful thoughts of your own!

thankful thoughtsYou read that right – I dare you to have some thankful thoughts without me.

In face, I triple double dog dare you!

In this week’s thankful thoughts, I’m turning the tables on you.

It’s not that a ran out of things to be thankful for… far from it!  My list of things I’m thankful for is pretty long.

I am super duper blessed, and I know it.

But I want to share the blessing.

I want YOU to feel blessed too!

There is something amazing that happens in my heart when I share my thankful thoughts with you each week.

When I finish writing and push the “share” button, it feels really really good.  It makes my heart grow three sizes and get all warm inside.

I like it.

I think you’d feel the same way.

So I’m going to make it really simple.

I want you to TWEET a thankful thought to me.

Just one little thought.

Just one thing that you’re thankful for.

Come on…

… you can do it.

I’ll even make it easy.

Here’s the twitter button.

Send me a tweet and tell me what you’re thankful for today.

Come on!  I dare you!

Here’s a sample of what I’m thankful for this week:

I struggle with that one.  I’m not thrilled about turtles.  Specifically, I’m not thrilled about turtle maintenance.  But the joy on my childrens’ faces?  I’m thrilled beyond description.  These are *educational* turtles – not pets.  They were acquired legally in case you were worried.

She’s been gone since May and I miss her!!!!!!!

A low sugar treat that my son begs for and is easy to make?  How can I not be thankful?  He gobbles it up as a cookie and it doesn’t give him sugar induced activeness.

No explanation really needed for that, right?

I would love some thankful thoughts in the comments too!

You are more than welcome to leave me a link to a blog post with your own thankful thoughts.

You are more than welcome to share your thankful thoughts in comments.

Just please… tell me what you’re thankful for today.

I have a passion for encouraging weary worn out mothers to find joy in everyday motherhood and peace in unlikely places. I have two elementary school boys, one nerdy husband, and two cats. I have a strange fascination for bad puns, the color pink, socks, and books. I worry about running out of toilet paper, wine, and chocolate.. I serve an amazing God. I live an ordinary life filled with wonder.
